Quality of life

Thames Gateway Kent is an area where individuals, families and businesses can flourish. The area has a maritime heritage and offers theatres such as the Orchard (Dartford), as well as concerts, art and local festivals. Visitors have a choice of historic houses, castles and towns and is home to Dickens World, a £62 million indoor themed attraction based on the life of Charles Dickens. Bluewater is at the heart of the area, Europe's premier retail and leisure destination. And nearby there is a major designer outlet in Medway.
